Razor Rules Incite Convicts in Big House

Staff reacts to prisoner’s nonviolent protest regarding the policy change that eliminated razors in the Special Management Unit. They responded using physical force and threw concussion grenades, tear gas and pepper balls into cells where inmates suffered serious injuries. David Sprout calls this behavior “over the top” and questions their use of riot-type gear.
